CYC Gets Hot & Spicy

On Saturday 16th August our Clubhouse Social Crew turned up the heat with Curries Of The World!

The Crew pulled out all of the stops to host a fun filled evening for members to sample an array of delicious authentic curries of different origins….with dishes ranging from the Caribbean to Southern India and even Indonesia…

…but all cooked in house by our home grown chefs, lead by Masterchef Mike Bertenshaw…who is a little camera shy, but bonus points if you can spot him here!

Sadly only a few of the stars of the show (aka the Blue Apron Brigade) were caught on camera, but this was a full on team effort with many pairs of adept hands for food prep, sublime chef-ery, service and clean-up!

Similar to our recent and roaringly successful Street Food event, our now acclaimed format of alfresco cooking and service from the clubhouse deck, invited the gastro-revellers to wander in and out from the bar to get their spice on and indulge in the different dishes on offer.

Finally when the taste buds were rocketing and tongues were on fire, we quenched those flames with a delightfully cooling dessert of Mango Tiramisu.
