Saturday, 11^th May, saw two CODs, Gwalch and Kathleen, competing in races 2 and 3 of the Early Spring Bank Holiday series.

Conditions were ideal, with sunshine and a fairly steady F2 southerly breeze.

First race, course C, was won by Gwalch after close racing and position changing.

Second race, course F, again started with close racing.  Gwalch pulled away, though, on the final beat,  when Kathleen’s main partially detached itself from the mast.

Despite this, Kathleen was given first when Gwalch retired on a technical issue.
